Contact the founderPicobello in brief
Picobello is a chore app for families on iPhone, iPad and Android. Parents set up their home room by room; kids turn household chores into playful quests, earn virtual coins for every finished task and spend them in a reward shop stocked by their parents, from a trip to the zoo to extra screen time. Parents confirm each chore before any coins are granted.
Picobello is made by Picobello Software UG in Berlin, founded by Felix Parey, and is available in English and German.

What makes it different
- The home becomes the game board. Chores are grouped by room (kitchen, bathroom, living room and more), and each one carries an age recommendation.
- Parents stay in charge. They choose the rewards, from material treats to privileges, and approve every chore before coins are granted.
- No ads, no purchases for kids. The child side shows no advertising and sells nothing; coins are virtual and cannot be bought.
- Built to collect as little as possible about children. A child profile holds a nickname, an avatar from the app's own set and an age range: no photos, real names, contact details, location or chat. A parent confirms every new child profile through an emailed link.
The founder
“I created Picobello because chores were always a big point of argument in my own family. I wanted kids to be able to earn rewards they otherwise couldn’t get, while making life easier for parents. A win-win situation.”
Felix Parey, founder of Picobello
Felix founded Picobello in Berlin and builds it himself: the iPhone, iPad and Android apps, the design and the service behind them. He is available for interviews in German and English.
